Meliora 2022 Names Terabank's Online Catalog for 100 Georgian Businesses an Outstanding Project

News 02 June 2023

Meliora 2022 named Terabank's Online Catalog for 100 Georgian Businesses an outstanding project at the responsible businesses of Georgia award competition. Terabank also received a certificate in the "Honest Activity in the Market" category.
Even though the competition in this category was not held this year due to a lack of applications, the jury recognized Terabank’s initiative as an outstanding project and awarded the certificate.

"Terabank's Online Catalog for 100 Georgian Businesses project took place in 2022 and it served to support small and medium-sized businesses, an important direction of Terabank's corporate social responsibility, specifically to promote and present the bank's business clients online. In partnership with Windforce advertising agency, an online catalog was created (terabank.ge) which united 100 Georgian small and medium business companies and Facebook and Terabank. The catalog was made available on the bank’s website.

This electronic directory enabled people to look at the products and services of the companies represented in it and easily contact the companies if they so desired. The project increased the online awareness of the participating business companies as well as the quality of their presence in traditional media while also raising the interest of other small and medium-sized businesses to also participate in the catalog project.

The Meliora 2022 Georgian Responsible Business Competition was held for the fourth time this year with the support of the European Union (EU) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) and organized by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG). The purpose of the competition is to develop corporate social responsibility in Georgia and promote it in society. Terabank received the Meliora award in 2021 for its project supporting 50 business clients in the “Supporting Small Businesses and Affected Sectors during the COVID-19 Pandemic” category.
