The Social Impact Award is jointly implemented in 16 countries and focuses on educating students in the realm of social entrepreneurship. Impact Hub Tbilisi has been providing young people with the opportunity to launch a social business for the seventh year. During this time, more than 1500 students from different regions of Georgia have participated in the program. Forty-five finalist teams (135 young people) underwent incubation, and 22 winning business ideas were financed.
The program offers young people a 10-month educational course to implement their own business ideas. During the program, students go through the entire process from generating an idea to drafting a business plan, which provides them with the opportunity to actually start a social business.
The Social Impact Award 2023 consists of several stages and includes a series of workshops. In the second stage of the program, finalist teams selected by an independent jury will undergo a two-month incubation, during which, with the assistance of individual mentors, they will develop a business model, draft business plans, and prepare for presentation to the jury. At the final stage of the program, the winning teams will be identified, receiving financial support for the implementation of their business ideas and the opportunity to participate in the Social Impact Award international summit.
The informational meeting will be held online on April 25th.
