Terabank has published the dynamically growing results of its small and medium business portfolio. The bank has positive indicators in terms of this strategic segment in 2022. Initiatives supporting small and medium businesses were also successful.
In particular, Terabank's credit portfolio grew by 28.4%, the deposit portfolio by 61.8% and the total number of small and medium business customers increased by 32% in the last year. During 2022, the credit portfolio of partnership with state financing programs was also expanded: 18% of the loans issued by the “Produce in Georgia” agency’s programs come to Terabank. The number of businesses financed by Terabank within the framework of cooperation with the agency is 70.
For Terabank, the year 2022 was also distinguished by particular activities promoting small and medium businesses: an online business catalog was created which united 100 Georgian businesses and introduced Internet users to the products and services of Terabank's small and medium business customers. In addition, information meetings were held throughout Georgia with business customers about Terabank's products and services as well as programs of “Produce in Georgia” and the Rural Development Agency and webinars were held on issues relevant to business. During the last year, Terabank was actively involved in the promotion of business customers and presented their activities through mass media and digital media channels many times.
In 2023, supporting small and medium businesses remains an important priority for Terabank. In the process of the development of this direction, special attention will be paid to offering agro and startup loan products and the promotion of women and young entrepreneurs.
