News 22 December 2025

From December 5 to 10, the Senaki Technopark, in partnership with Terabank, Geosoft, and Schoolx, hosted a cybersecurity hackathon. 35 young people took part in the six-day intensive project organized by the Georgia’s Innovation and Technology Agency and the Senaki Technopark, working on solving various important digital challenges.

Participants became familiar with the fundamentals of cybersecurity, real-world challenges across different sectors, the core principles of innovative thinking and product development, as well as the role of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity.

Within the framework of the project, a representative of the National Bank of Georgia’s Financial Education Department, Tamta Shvangiradze, shared information with participants about financial education and financial security.

At the end of the hackathon, teams presented their ideas and achieved results to the jury, based on which three winning teams were selected. Two winning teams were awarded Wowchy vouchers by Terabank, while the third team received a Geosoft training course. The two winning teams awarded by Terabank were “Phishguard,” which presented a phishing simulation platform for companies, and “MCU,” whose idea was a comprehensive educational platform focused on cybersecurity.

One of the key areas of Terabank’s corporate social responsibility is supporting and promoting youth education. The bank aims to encourage innovative thinking among young people and help them gain practical experience and deepen their knowledge.
