Terabank welcomed representatives of the international research agency, SME Banking Agency. As part of the visit, representatives from banks in four countries — Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan — visited Georgia alongside the agency’s team. They had the opportunity to learn firsthand about Terabank’s achievements in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as in environmental and social responsibility (ESG).
The guests visited Terabank’s Pekini branch, where they were introduced to the bank’s service standards and offerings. Afterwards, at the Biltmore Hotel, Konstantine Makatsaria, Head of Terabank’s Micro, Small, and Medium Business Management Department, and Lika Kardava, Environmental and Social Risk Manager, delivered a presentation outlining the bank’s approaches and initiatives in supporting SMEs.
It is worth noting that earlier this month, the SME Banking Agency’s team of experts named Terabank among the leading financial institutions in Georgia, based on their evaluation of sustainable financial practices in the SME sector.
