From October 1, the terms and conditions for using business lounges will change for all Visa Premium cardholders. The corresponding service will be accessible through the Visa Airport Companion app.
According to the new lounge access conditions:
- Visa Premium cardholders will receive their first visit as a gift, regardless of how many visits were used during the year 2024 (from January 1 to September 30).
- After the first visit, Visa Premium cardholders will be able to use the lounges if, within 35 days prior to the visit, they have made transactions totaling at least 1,500 GEL on their card. (This includes only transactions made through POS terminals and e-commerce; ATM transactions are not included.) If this condition is met, Visa Platinum cardholders can visit the lounge up to 6 times during the year, while Visa Infinite cardholders have unlimited access.
- If a Visa Platinum cardholder has a transaction totaling 5,000 GEL within 35 days before visiting the lounge, they will be able to visit the lounge an unlimited number of times.
To use the app, after downloading it from the App Store or Google Play, users must register their Visa premium cards with the app. As a result, with Visa Airport Companion, they will be able to search for more than 1 200 business lounge locations, check how many visits they have left and enjoy various privileges.
In Visa Airport Companion, the user selects the desired lounge, clicks the Walk-in button, then Membership and gets access, and presents the digital membership card or QR code to the lounge staff. Please note that the business lounge benefits are exclusively available to holders of Visa Platinum, Visa Platinum Business, Visa Signature, Visa Signature Business, and Visa Infinite cards.
