Terabank supported women entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary opportunities to start and grow their businesses.
Around 200 participants attended the "Business Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs" meeting held at the Pullman Tbilisi Axis Tower hotel on March 28. These included women entrepreneurs in various sectors like agrotourism, hospitality, and education, from both the capital and other regions of the country. The event aimed to share valuable information to help women entrepreneurs develop and progress in their endeavors.
During the meeting, Beka Bibilashvili, Terabank's deputy head of micro, small, and medium business management, discussed improving financial access for women entrepreneurs. Head of the small and medium business development department, Teona Babunashvili from the agency "Enterprise Georgia" introduced participants to support programs for small and medium businesses. Sandro Kandelaki, Terabank's digital transformation manager, presented SaaSargeblo.ge, a platform supporting digitalization in business activities.
Representatives from Georgian tech startups Helio.AI and Signify also attended, showcasing their products and services and explaining their benefits to attendees. The event provided an opportunity for participants to establish important business connections.
Supporting women entrepreneurs is a significant part of Terabank's corporate social responsibility, aligned with the UN Women's Empowerment Principles. The bank has already implemented various initiatives in this area, with plans for further support in the future.
